Kazuma Akehi

Dr. Akehi is the Program Director for the Master of Athletic Training as well as an associate professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Sport 科学. Dr. Akehi is also a BOC 认证 and state licensed athletic trainer to 提供 athletic injury care in athletic events. Dr. Akehi is a co-director for the 体育菠菜大平台 Athletic Training Lab and 洛佩尔 Performance Applied Sport Science Hub to 促进 athletic injury prevention and return-to-play readiness for 体育菠菜大平台 student athletes and local high school students.

Research Interests 

The non-invasive assessment of the biomechanical properties of the musculotendinous unit and return-to-play readiness on neuromuscular characteristics after the orthopedic surgery and its therapeutic intervention.
